Ali In The Studio Working | Moe Musik

Mohamad Ali, or Ali (@somearabguy) as he is better known, has been honing his craft as a Recording Artist since the age of 15.  Getting his start in Detroit meant performing in, and winning Rap Battles, and Open Mic Events in front of crowds of hundreds.  Ali is fully self-managed, and self-funded, through several businesses and entrepreneurial ventures.

In December 2019, Ali appeared in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, where he discussed how music was an outlet, as well as a coping method, as a young child who was in and out of the legal system, while growing up in Dearborn, Michigan.  He concluded the interview explaining the big plans he had for himself and his Moe Musik brand in 2020.

To start the year off right, and keep good on his promise of big moves in 2020, Ali had 4 different songs cosigned and featured by DJ Akademiks on his Instagram profile, between January and March (January 22nd & 31st, February 10th, and March 28th).  Ali was also featured in the “Hottest In The Streets” video interview series with DJ Thoro, on This Is 50 in February 2020.

Early in March 2020, Ali started generating a big buzz with his song "Presidential", which was featured in articles on 26 different online Magazines and Blogs.  Some of the publications include 4 Sho Mag, Rap or Die, Drama Like The DJ, and a detailed article on Karen Civil, where Ali discussed his upcoming project produced by the iconic production duo Cool & Dre.

In early May, Ali teamed up with blogger Its Bizkit (@itsbizkitt), to give away $2,500 to a lucky winner through Cash App.  Their video announcing the giveaway was featured on the World Star Hip Hop Instagram page.

June was another very big month for Ali, as he saw another release getting some major attention.  Ali, AKA Moe Musik, released his single “I Do The Numbers”, which, like “Presidential” appeared in 25 online publications, such as, Respect Magazine, Upcoming Hip Hop, Lizzy Brodie, and The DMV Daily, just to name a few.

Most recently, Ali was featured in an article by Denisa DeBocci, AKA The PR Lady, who is the Founder of The Detroit Entrepreneur and Owner of The Booth Magazine.  Ali spoke on his plans and strategies to turn heads in the industry, as well as discussing his song "Mona Lisa" with French Montana which will be released in November 2020.

Ali has proven himself as a multi-genre Recording Artist, Songwriter, Producer, Audio Engineer, and even Creative Director, having Written and Directed some of his Music Videos.  Ali has worked on music with countless Legends, such as Helluva, Dre Butterz, Mally Mall, Cool N Dre, and French Montana.  With no plans of slowing down, Ali will live up to his name, and reputation, and go down as one of the greatest!
